A custom one I just have to share...

At e&a handbags, making bags to fit our client's personality is the name of the game. We have a client who LOVES to wear red, white and black. It's so classic, so fresh, so sharp...so Catherine (that's her name). Her latest choice in the e&a line is the Bea...we personalized it with a fabric poppy looking flower with a black center. SO fun we just had to share. Check out www.eahandbags.com for more options. Don't be afraid to ask for customization. We'll fit your personality to!

A DIY project e&a WED shared with Hill City Bride

Check us out at Hill City Bride (hillcitybride.com) where we shared a quick DIY project. These would be great in the middle of tables at a reception with photos of the bride and groom in them.

Custom Ribbon Boards

There are so many people who help during a wedding...

There's the friend, who isn't a bridesmaid, but has scheduled your hair, makeup and fittings for you. Your aunt who bargained with each vendor to get everything just the way you wanted it. There's the sister who did ANYTHING you asked without complaining (well, at least not at the time).

Growing up in the South taught me many things. The biggest is-everyone should be thanked! Sometimes a simple card works, but, for those who go above and beyond, give something custom that they will actually use.

Priced from $25-$65 Custom Ribbon Boards are perfect for anyone! They can be created to match decor, personality or even a wedding theme. Contact e&a WED today for a consultaion.

A different kind of Bridesmaid gift...one for now and later...

The traditional gift of a necklace or earrings is always an appropriate gift for a bridesmaid. The fact is, a lot of times, they wear it that day, tuck it away for later and then don't end up using it again. So what gift will make your maids think you're the best bride ever???

At elle&anne, we find that the best feedback we ever receive is when a bride gives a custom clutch or handbag as a gift. Whether they are all made of the same fabric, or each bag matches the individual personalities, they are the perfect "now and later" gift! There are so many affordable options from the MORGAN for $40 to the LISA CLUTCH or JOANNE CLUTCH for around $60. We've had several brides give the CASEY, a true day-to-day purse, which runs $80. One of my favorite ideas was from a bride who did the EMILY TOTE at $57 and filled it with bottled water, crackers, lip gloss and other fun items for her bridesmaids to enjoy the weekend of the wedding. There is a discount if you order 3 or more bags and an even bigger one if you order 5 or more!

Either way, elle&anne will meet with you for a personal consultation whether online through skype or email or in person to help you choose the fabric and embellishments you would like best. Check out www.eahandbags.com or call 434-229-0631 for a consultation.

Oh...and you MUST get one for yourself...after all, you're doing all of the work!

Custom this and thats for Lisa and Tim's wedding

I had SO much fun creating different elements of this wedding held at Smith Mountain Lake, VA. From the bouquet rose monogram to the chandelier of fabric balls and paper lanterns, these elements pulled the celebration together nicely. We even alternated different fabrics as table runners to coordinate with the fabric balls, bouquet and cake.

My favorite item may have been her hairpiece...feathers, rhinestones and things that sparkle are among some of my favorite things. The ring bearer pillow was so sweet and coordinated perfectly with the madras plaid shorts and white polo shirt he wore. Pink is one my favorite colors and when I found out the bride had pink shoes, I was so excited. Then when I found out she wanted me to "bling" them...I just may have jumped for joy...just a little.

Thank you to my amazingly talented husband for the photos! (www.davidduncanphoto.com)

And Thanks Lisa and Tim for asking me to be such a big part of your day!

Be sure to let us know what you need for your wedding...we'll try almost anything!
